Planning a trip to the 2027 24 Hours of Le Mans?
One of the first things you'll want to know is when tickets actually go on sale.
The 95th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans takes place from 9–13 June 2027, with another huge Hypercar field expected as manufacturers including Ferrari, Toyota, Porsche rivals and returning names compete at the Circuit de la Sarthe.
But when can you buy your tickets?
When do Le Mans 2027 tickets go on sale?
As of 6 September 2026, the official 2027 ticket-sale dates have not yet been announced.
The Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) currently states that the opening dates for the 2027 24 Hours of Le Mans ticket office will be announced soon.
We will update this guide as soon as the confirmed dates are released.
Based on the timetable used in recent years, however, we'd expect the main 2027 ticket release to take place during autumn 2026, most likely around November.
That is an expectation based on previous sales rather than a confirmed 2027 date.
Recent Le Mans ticket release dates
Recent editions have followed a fairly consistent pattern:

The 2026 ticket office, for example, opened to ACO Members on 4 November 2025, followed by general sales on 7 November 2025.
In 2025, general sales began on 13 November 2024, while the previous year's general release was 15 November 2023.
So if you're planning Le Mans 2027, November 2026 is a very sensible period to have in your diary, but don't treat any particular November date as confirmed until the ACO announces it.
When is the 2027 24 Hours of Le Mans?
The 2027 24 Hours of Le Mans takes place from:
Wednesday 9 June to Sunday 13 June 2027
with the main 24-hour race taking place over the Saturday and Sunday.
The wider event begins earlier, with Scrutineering and other race-week activities forming part of the build-up. The official 2027 programme already shows activities beginning before the main Wednesday–Sunday circuit programme.
If it's your first visit, we'd strongly recommend thinking about Le Mans as a race week, rather than simply a Saturday and Sunday race.

Will there be an ACO Member presale?
Although the exact 2027 arrangements have not yet been announced, recent editions have given ACO Members priority access before tickets go on general sale.
For the 2026 race, members could buy from 4 November 2025, three days before the general public sale on 7 November.
The previous year used a similar structure, with ACO Member sales opening before general availability.
It would therefore be unsurprising to see a member presale again for 2027, but we'll wait for the official announcement before confirming the dates or terms.
Does becoming an ACO Member guarantee a ticket?
No.
Priority access doesn't mean unlimited availability.
Popular ticket types still have finite capacity and membership shouldn't be treated as a guarantee that every grandstand or campsite will remain available.
If you're relying on the member presale, we'd still be ready to book when it opens.
How quickly do Le Mans tickets sell out?
Potentially very quickly.
This is particularly true for the most desirable products.
When the ACO announced the 2026 sales dates, it specifically noted that the previous year's Full Week passes had sold out within a day.
That doesn't mean every Le Mans ticket disappears within 24 hours.
Different products have different levels of demand.
But it does demonstrate why we'd avoid assuming:
“I'll just book it sometime after Christmas.”
Which tickets are likely to be most competitive?
We'd pay particular attention to:

Full Week General Entrance

popular grandstands

covered grandstands
-
preferred camping areas
-
parking in convenient locations
-
products needed by larger groups
General availability is one thing.
Getting the exact combination you want is another.
Should you buy Le Mans tickets as soon as they go on sale?
If you already know you're going, we'd generally say yes.
That doesn't mean panic-buying a ticket you don't understand.
Spend some time beforehand deciding:

whether you want a grandstand

which grandstands you'd be happy with

whether you're camping

which campsite you want
-
whether you need parking
Then you're ready when sales open.
Have a first and second choice
This is particularly important for grandstands.
Don't enter the ticket release knowing only:
“I want T20 and nothing else.”
Instead, perhaps have:
First choice: T20 Léonard
Second choice: T21 Tavano
Third choice: T19 Lagache
If your first option is unavailable, you can make a sensible decision rather than trying to research grandstands while other tickets continue selling.

What ticket do you need for Le Mans 2027?
Before ticket sales open, make sure you understand what you're actually buying.
Most importantly:
Every spectator needs a valid General Entrance ticket.
If you also want a reserved grandstand seat, you'll need the appropriate General Entrance + Grandstand combination.
A grandstand ticket by itself should not be treated as your admission to Le Mans.
General Entrance
Your General Entrance ticket is what permits you to attend the event.
Different options may cover different days of race week.
Grandstand
A Grandstand ticket gives you a reserved seat.
It is an addition to your required General Entrance rather than a replacement for it.
Camping
Camping gives you your campsite/pitch.
It doesn't replace your General Entrance ticket.
Parking
Likewise, parking covers the vehicle and parking area rather than admission for the people inside it.
If you're unsure what combination you need, work this out before release day.

Where can you buy Le Mans 2027 tickets?
The ACO sells tickets through its own official ticketing channels and through its network of official ticket agencies.
JustTickets is currently listed by the ACO as one of its official ticket agencies.
That means UK customers can purchase Le Mans ticket products through JustTickets when the relevant 2027 stock and allocations become available.
Why buy through an official ticket agency?
For an event with as much demand as Le Mans, knowing where your ticket has come from matters.
The ACO specifically advises spectators not to purchase outside its official sales network.
Buying through recognised channels also means you know you're purchasing genuine event ticket products rather than relying on an unknown third-party resale listing.
What Le Mans 2027 tickets are likely to be available?
The final 2027 ticket range hasn't yet been confirmed.

What should you do before 2027 tickets go on sale?
This is probably the most useful thing you can do right now.
Don't wait for ticket-release morning to start planning.
Decide how long you're going for
Are you attending:

This determines which General Entrance product is most appropriate.
Decide whether you want a grandstand
You don't need one to enjoy Le Mans.
But for a first visit, we think a reserved seat is well worth considering if the budget allows.

Choose your campsite
If you're camping, look at the circuit map before choosing.
Le Mans is huge and campsite location can dramatically affect your weekend.
Plan your travel
UK visitors should also start thinking about Channel crossings.
Ferries and LeShuttle can become expensive around major event dates.
You may find it worthwhile securing your travel arrangements early once you're confident about the trip and understand any cancellation conditions.

Should you wait for cheaper Le Mans tickets?
We wouldn't build a Le Mans trip around the assumption that ticket prices will fall later.
The bigger risk isn't necessarily that prices rise.
It's that the product you want disappears.
A different grandstand might still be available.
A different campsite might still be available.
General Entrance may still exist.
But if you've built your ideal trip around a particular combination, waiting can reduce your choices.
Le Mans is one of those events where availability can matter more than chasing a small saving.
What if Le Mans 2027 tickets sell out?
Don't immediately turn to unknown resale websites.
The ACO operates an official ticket resale platform, where eligible ticket products can become available again when existing customers list them for resale. Availability depends entirely on what is returned to the platform.
If the ticket you want has sold out, we'd recommend:

watching the official resale platform when applicable

being flexible about grandstands or campsites
Avoid transferring large sums of money to somebody on social media simply because their profile picture contains a Le Mans car.
Why could Le Mans 2027 be particularly popular?
Le Mans has experienced huge demand in recent years, and the 2027 race is shaping up to be another significant edition.
The official event site currently highlights a Hypercar field involving major manufacturers including:

You don't necessarily need to wait until the exact Le Mans ticket-sale day to research travel.

Should I buy my grandstand at the same time?
If you definitely want a particular grandstand, we'd book it as early as possible once available.
Reserved seating has finite capacity and the most popular locations can become unavailable.
Does a grandstand ticket get me into Le Mans?
No.
Every spectator needs the required General Entrance, with the Grandstand element added if they want a reserved seat.
Make sure you've bought the complete combination required for your booking.
