AGENCY TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALL BOOKINGS

 

Except where otherwise specified, we, Just Tickets and Motoring Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 02638562 and registered office address of 8th Floor Becket House, 36 Old Jewry, London, England, EC2R 8DD (“we” “us” “the Company” “our”), act only as an agent in respect of all bookings we take and/or make on your behalf. We accept no liability in relation to any contract you enter into or for any tickets or other service you purchase or for the acts or omissions of any supplier or other person(s) or party(ies) connected with any travel arrangements. For all tickets, your contract will be with the supplier of the travel arrangements in question (the `Supplier/Principal`).

 

When you make a booking, the first named person on the booking agrees on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking that he/she has read these Booking Conditions and has the authority to accept and does accept these Booking Conditions. The first named person on the booking will be the Party Leader and will be responsible for making all payments due to us on behalf of all the persons detailed on the booking. He/she must be at least 18 or over and where placing an order for services with age restrictions, declares that he/she and all members of the party are of the appropriate age to purchase those services. The Party Leader also consents to our use of personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is authorised on behalf of all persons named on the booking to disclose their personal details to us, including where applicable special categories of data (such as information on health conditions or disabilities and dietary requirements).

1.Contract. When making your booking the Company will arrange for you to enter into a contract with the applicable Supplier/Principal (e.g. ticket provider/event organiser) of the tickets, as specified on your confirmation invoice.

 

As agent the Company accepts no responsibility for the acts or omissions of the Supplier/Principal or the services provided by them. Your booking with the Company is subject to these Agency Terms and Conditions and the specific terms and conditions of the relevant Supplier/Principal(s) you contract with and you are advised to read both carefully prior to booking. The Supplier/Principal`s booking conditions may limit and/or exclude their liability to you. Please ask for copies if you do not have them.

 

Your booking is confirmed and a contract between you and the Supplier/Principal will exist when the Company sends you a confirmation on their behalf.

2. Booking and Payment.Please check that all names, dates and timing are correct on receipt of all documents and advise us of any errors immediately. Any changes to these details may incur changes as stated in these Agency Terms and Conditions. The booking information that you provide to the Companywill be passed on only to the relevant Supplier/Principal of your tickets or other persons necessary for the provision of the tickets.

 

Upon Booking you will be advised whether full payment or a deposit is applicable. If a deposit only is required please note the due date for final payment (which you will be advised of at the time of booking). If final payment is not received, this will be treated as a cancellation by you and your deposit will be forfeited.

 

Except where otherwise advised or stated in the booking conditions of the Supplier/Principal concerned, all monies you pay to the Company for tickets will be held on behalf of the Supplier/Principal and forwarded on to the Supplier/Principal in accordance with our agreement with them.

 

For self-drive and flight inclusive bookings the full balance is payable nine weeks prior to the departure date or immediately if you are booking within nine weeks of the departure date. If full payment(s) has not been made by the due date, this will be treated as a cancellation by you and your deposit(s) will be forfeited and the Company will also notify the Supplier/Principal who may at its option treat the booking as cancelled and charge the cancellation fees set out in condition 7 and 8.

3. Prices. The Company reserves the right to amend advertised prices at any time and to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. Special note: changes and errors sometimes occur. You must check the price of your chosen arrangements at the time of booking. This also applies to information shown on the websites www.justticketsandmotoring.co.uk & www.justtickets.co.uk

4. Insurance. Many Supplier/Principals require you to take out travel insurance as a condition of booking with them. In any event, you are strongly advised to take out a policy of insurance in order to cover you and your party against the cost of cancellation by you; the cost of assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness; loss of baggage and money; and other expenses.

5. Special Requests. If you have any special requests (for example dietary requirements, cots or room location), please let us know at the time of booking. We will pass on all such requests to the Supplier/Principal, but we can`t guarantee that they will be met and we will have no liability to you if they are not.

6. Changes by you. Any request for an alteration to a booking must be made in writing and will take effect at the time we receive it. Please ensure that you have received written confirmation of any changes to your booking prior to travel. Whilst we will try to assist, we cannot guarantee that the Supplier/Principal will meet such requests. Amendments can only be accepted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Supplier/Principal of your arrangements. The Supplier/Principal may charge the cancellation or amendment charges shown in their booking conditions (which may be as much as 100% of the cost of the Arrangements and will normally increase closer to the date of departure). In addition, an administration fee of £50 per person will be made for each change.

7. Cancellation by you: Race Tickets – if you wish to cancel your booking for race tickets you must do so in writing, any cancellation request will take effect at the time the Company receives it. The Company will liaise with the Supplier/Principal in an effort to resell the tickets but if the tickets cannot be resold no refund will be made to you in accordance with the Supplier/Principal`s terms and conditions. If tickets are resold, you will be refunded the money you paid for the tickets. Please note: the Supplier/Principal will not re-issue/replace or provide refunds for any lost or stolen race tickets.

8. Cancellation by you: Travel Bookings – if you wish to cancel a self-drive booking or flight inclusive booking where we act as agent, you must do so in writing, any cancellation request will take effect at the time the Company receives it.

 

Cancellations can only be accepted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Supplier/Principal of your ticket. The Supplier/Principal may charge 100% of the cost of booking but we will liaise with the Supplier/Principal in an attempt to recover any monies. If we do recover any monies from the Supplier/Principal, this will be refunded to you, minus an administration fee of £50. If we cannot recover any monies from the Supplier/Principal, you will be subject to the cancellation charges as set out in the terms and conditions of the Supplier/Principal with the addition of an administration fee of £50.

9. Changes and cancellations by the Supplier/Principal. The Company will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if the Supplier/Principal needs to make a significant change to your confirmed Arrangements or to cancel them. The Company will also liaise between you and the Supplier/Principal in relation to any alternative arrangements offered but the Company will have no further liability to you.

10. Events Beyond Our Control. Except where otherwise expressly stated in these Agency Terms and Conditions, the Company or the Supplier/Principal will not be liable or pay you compensation if our contractual obligations to you are affected by Events Beyond Our Control. In this clause and for the purpose of these Agency Terms and Conditions Events Beyond Our Control means any event beyond the Company`s or the Supplier/Principal`s control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Examples include without limitation war, threat of war, act or threat of terrorism, riots, civil unrest, epidemics, pandemics, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease at the travel destination (including the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and/or future strains of the Coronavirus), industrial action, nuclear or natural disaster, floods, earthquakes or adverse weather conditions which make it impossible to travel safely to the travel destination or remain at the travel destination, fire, the act of any government or other national or local authority including port or river authorities, industrial dispute, labour strikes, lock closure, chemical or biological disaster, unavoidable technical problems with transport or any similar event or circumstance outside the control the Company or Supplier/Principal.

 

If a booking is cancelled or materially altered as the result of Events Beyond Our Control, the Company will liaise with the Supplier/Principal to offer a suitable alternative or monetary refund but the Company cannot guarantee this will be possible or that the refund will be the full cost of your booking.

11. The Company`s responsibility for your booking. Your contract is with the Supplier/Principal and its booking conditions apply. The Company accepts no responsibility for the actual provision of the arrangements. The Company`s responsibilities are limited to making the booking in accordance with your instructions and the Company does not accept any responsibility for any information about the arrangements that is passed on to you in good faith. However, in the event that the Company is found liable to you on any basis whatsoever, its maximum liability to you is limited to twice the cost of the commission earned on your booking (or the appropriate proportion of this if not everyone on the booking is affected). The Company does not exclude or limit any liability for death or personal injury that arises as a result of the Company`s negligence or that of any of its employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.

12. Visa, passport and health requirements. The Company can provide general information about the passport and visa requirements for your trip. Your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. Neither the Company nor the Supplier/Principal accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements. Please note that these requirements may change between booking and departure. Most countries now require passports to be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. Please take special note that for all air travel within the British Isles, airlines require photographic identification of a specific type. Please ask for full details. The Company can provide general information about any health formalities required for your trip but you should check with your own doctor for your specific circumstances.

13. Complaints. If you have a problem with your arrangements or you wish to complain about any service the Company has provided to you (i.e. the booking service) then please contact the Company directly.

14. Delivery of documents and information. All documents (e.g. invoices/tickets/other travel documents) that require to be posted will be sent to you by First Class post, special delivery or courier. The Company will not be responsible for, or liable to replace at its cost, any tickets, unless their loss is due to the Company`s negligence. If possible the Company will seek the co-operation of the Supplier/Principal for replacement, if tickets or other documents need to be reissued, all costs must be paid by you. All descriptions and content on the Company`s website or otherwise issued by the Company is done so on behalf of the Supplier/Principal in question are intended to present a general idea of the services provided by the Supplier/Principal. Not all details of the relevant services can be included on the Company`s website. All services shown are subject to availability. 15. Law and Jurisdiction. These Agency Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction (unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you can bring proceedings in your local court under Scottish or Northern Irish law, as applicable).

16. Final Travel Arrangements. Please ensure that all your travel, passport, visa and insurance documents are in order and that you arrive in plenty of time for checking in at the airport. It may be necessary to reconfirm your flight with the airline prior to departure. If you fail to reconfirm you may be refused permission to board the aircraft and you are unlikely to receive any refund.

17. Accommodation Ratings and Standards. All ratings are as provided by the relevant Supplier/Principal. These are intended to give a guide to the services and facilities you should expect from your accommodation. Standards and ratings may vary between countries, as well as between suppliers. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of any ratings given.

18. Documentation & Information. All descriptions and content on the Company`s website or otherwise issued by the Company is done so on behalf of the Supplier/Principal in question are intended to present a general idea of the services provided by the Supplier/Principal. Not all details of the relevant services can be included on the Company`s website. All services shown are subject to availability. 19. Financial Protection. All packages will be sold through our parent company Lycian Events limited who are a member of ABTOT and offer financial protection, their terms and conditions can be found at https://www.lycianevents.com/terms-conditions/ If you are purchasing race tickets only then this does not apply. Package holidays are protected by the package organiser (which will be the Supplier/Principal) and we will provide you with their confirmation

Just Tickets Ltd will never ask for bank or credit card details via email. Our website cannot take bank or card details, please ignore any request claiming to be from Just Tickets Ltd and do not respond.

Are small files which are stores on a user’s computer. They are designed to hold a modest amount of data specific to a particular client and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. Our website does not use ‘cookies’.

Just Tickets Ltd collects and uses customers’ personal data to fulfil orders that are placed by customers’.

 

We rely on consent for this basis, if you are not happy about this you can withdraw the consent and we will cancel the booking and delete any personal data held. ( Please note if tickets have been ordered a refund will only occur once said tickets have been resold then data would be deleted).
